Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Florida pages of this website and the services offered in Florida under the DrWeightPR name by DRWEIGHT LLC. In this document, “DrWeightPR,” “DRWEIGHT LLC,” “we,” “us,” “our,” “the Practice,” or “the service” refer to DRWEIGHT LLC and its physicians, employees, contractors, and authorized representatives, as applicable.
By accessing the website, completing a form, booking an appointment, making a payment, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that:
- You have read these Terms and Conditions.
- You understand them.
- You agree to be bound by them.
- You have the legal capacity to accept them.
- The information you provide is true, complete, and up to date.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the website or request our services.
2. What DrWeightPR is
DrWeightPR is a medical service focused mainly on:
- Medical weight management.
- Metabolic health.
- Evaluations for pharmacological treatment.
- Follow-up care for established patients.
- Education and guidance on habits, nutrition, physical activity, and medications.
Services in Florida are provided by telemedicine. DrWeightPR is not a pharmacy, manufacturer, distributor, insurance company, or medication delivery service.
3. Eligibility
The services offered on the Florida pages of DrWeightPR are intended only for:
- Adults age 18 and older.
- People who are physically located in Florida at the time of the visit.
- People able to give informed consent.
- People who can take part safely and appropriately in a telemedicine visit.
We may ask you to verify your identity, age, physical location, contact information, medical history, laboratory results, medication list, or other clinically necessary information. Accepting an appointment or paying for a visit does not guarantee that you are eligible for a specific medication or treatment.
We may decline, postpone, or suspend services when we believe that:
- Telemedicine is not appropriate.
- There is not enough information.
- An in-person evaluation is required.
- The case is outside the scope of the service.
- There is a risk to the patient’s safety.
- The person does not meet the age, location, or eligibility requirements.
- There is abusive, fraudulent, or inappropriate conduct.
4. Not an emergency service
DrWeightPR does not provide emergency services or 24-hour urgent care. Do not use the website, forms, email, text messages, WhatsApp, or the booking platform for urgent or life-threatening situations.
If you have symptoms such as chest pain or pressure, trouble breathing, loss of consciousness, sudden weakness on one side of the body, severe confusion, a severe allergic reaction, significant bleeding, severe or persistent abdominal pain, persistent vomiting with inability to keep liquids down, thoughts of harming yourself or someone else, or any other symptom that may be an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Messages sent to DrWeightPR may not be reviewed right away.
5. Telemedicine
Telemedicine lets us provide certain medical services by video call and other electronic communication technologies.
You acknowledge that telemedicine has benefits and limitations, including:
- No complete physical examination.
- Possible internet, audio, video, or device failures.
- Possible interruptions.
- Reasonable privacy and security risks.
- The possibility that the available information is not enough to make a clinical recommendation.
- The need for additional laboratory tests, studies, or in-person evaluations.
The clinician may end or postpone a visit when the connection, setting, available information, or clinical circumstances do not allow the service to be provided properly. The clinician may also recommend an in-person evaluation, a visit with your primary care physician, a specialist, laboratory or diagnostic tests, an urgent care clinic, or an emergency room.
Before receiving telemedicine services, you must review and accept the applicable Telemedicine Consent. These Terms and Conditions do not replace informed consent for telemedicine.
6. Physician-patient relationship
Visiting the website, reading information, sending a message, or booking an appointment does not by itself create a physician-patient relationship.
A physician-patient relationship is established only when:
- A licensed clinician agrees to evaluate the patient.
- An appropriate clinical visit takes place.
- The clinician determines that they can take on the patient’s care within the scope of the service.
The physician-patient relationship is limited to the service and episode of care involved. DrWeightPR does not replace your primary care physician and is not responsible for the overall management of all your medical conditions. We recommend that every patient keep regular follow-up with a primary care physician and any specialists they need.
7. Evaluations, diagnoses, and prescriptions
Every clinical decision is made individually and is subject to the clinician’s professional judgment.
A visit does not guarantee a specific diagnosis, a prescription, approval of a medication, a dose increase or decrease, a refill, a medical letter, a certificate, a laboratory order, a referral, or any particular clinical result.
The clinician may decline to prescribe or to continue a treatment when they believe that:
- There are contraindications.
- The risks outweigh the possible benefits.
- Laboratory results or clinical information are missing.
- The patient has not completed the required follow-up.
- There are adverse effects.
- The medication is not available.
- The patient provided incorrect or incomplete information.
- The requested treatment is not medically appropriate.
- An in-person evaluation or another professional is needed.
Do not start, stop, increase, reduce, share, or change medications without talking to a licensed clinician.
8. Weight-management medications
DrWeightPR may evaluate eligibility for medications used in weight management or metabolic health, including options such as Zepbound®, tirzepatide, Foundayo®, or other legally available treatments.
Mentioning a medication or brand name on the website:
- Is not an individual recommendation.
- Does not guarantee that the medication is appropriate for you.
- Does not guarantee a prescription, availability, or a specific price.
- Does not guarantee weight loss.
- Does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from the manufacturer.
Medications can cause side effects and complications. You are responsible for reporting any new symptom, adverse reaction, or significant clinical change right away. Results vary from person to person, and no specific amount or percentage of weight loss is guaranteed.
9. Pharmacies, manufacturers, and third-party services
When a patient qualifies and a prescription is issued, it may be sent to a pharmacy, pharmacy platform, or outside provider chosen by the patient or used for the treatment involved, such as LillyDirect®, Found, community pharmacies, or other independent providers, depending on availability.
DrWeightPR does not control whether a prescription is accepted, medication availability, a pharmacy’s internal requirements, processing times, medication prices, taxes or fees, available payment methods, dispensing decisions, delays, lost or damaged packages, temperature control during shipping, delivery to an incorrect address provided by the patient, or a pharmacy’s return or refund policies.
Buying the medication is a separate transaction between the patient and the pharmacy or provider. Medication prices shown on DrWeightPR are estimates or prices published by third parties and may change without notice. DRWEIGHT LLC is not responsible for price changes, inventory, cancellations, rejections, delays, or actions of an independent pharmacy, manufacturer, or delivery service. Mentioning LillyDirect®, Zepbound®, Foundayo®, or other brands does not mean those companies own, partner with, or manage DrWeightPR. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
10. Patient responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide complete, correct, and up-to-date information.
- Report all your medications, supplements, and allergies.
- Report medical diagnoses and prior surgeries.
- Report clinically relevant personal or family history.
- Report pregnancy, possible pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
- Report side effects or changes in your condition.
- Complete requested laboratory tests or evaluations.
- Follow clinical instructions.
- Keep up follow-up care with your primary care physician.
- Not share medications or use a prescription meant for someone else.
- Not alter prescriptions or medical documents.
- Not use the services to obtain medications fraudulently.
- Be physically located in Florida at the time of the visit.
- Join the video call from a reasonably private and safe place, with a suitable device and connection.
- Treat staff and clinicians with respect.
You are responsible for making sure the pharmacy has your correct name, date of birth, address, phone number, and other information. You should also read the instructions, warnings, manufacturer information, and documents supplied with each medication.
11. False or incomplete information
Medical treatment depends on the patient providing correct information. Hiding or misrepresenting information about medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, cancer history, family history, hospitalizations, side effects, substance use, or treatment from other providers can cause serious harm and may lead to immediate termination of services. DRWEIGHT LLC is not responsible for consequences caused by false, incomplete, outdated, or omitted information provided by the patient, except to the extent the law provides otherwise.
12. Self-pay
DrWeightPR services are offered mainly on a direct-pay (self-pay) basis.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- No claims are submitted to health plans.
- Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers are not billed.
- The patient is responsible for the full cost of the visit.
- The visit fee does not include the medication, laboratory tests, studies, pharmacy, shipping, or outside services.
- Payment for the visit must be completed when booking or before the service is provided.
- Current prices are shown on the website or on the booking platform.
The initial weight-management evaluation in Florida currently costs $99. Prices may change at any time; the price that applies is the one shown when you book. Paying for a visit does not oblige the clinician to issue a prescription.
13. Health plans and insurance reimbursement
DrWeightPR does not guarantee that a health plan will reimburse its services. When appropriate, you may request a receipt or basic documentation of the service, but you alone are responsible for checking your benefits, requesting reimbursement, submitting documents, meeting deadlines, obtaining authorizations, and responding to your plan. We do not guarantee that an insurer will accept or reimburse any visit, medication, laboratory test, or treatment.
14. Cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show policy
You must cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 24 hours in advance. When you cancel with enough notice, your payment may be applied to a new date, kept as a credit, or refunded when appropriate and authorized. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be treated as late cancellations.
The following may result in losing all or part of your payment:
- Not showing up for the appointment.
- Cancelling late.
- Not responding to the clinician.
- Not connecting within the allowed time.
- Being outside Florida at the time of the visit.
- Not having the required identification or information.
- Not completing required forms.
- Voluntarily ending the visit after it starts.
- Not having the minimum conditions needed to hold the visit.
We may make reasonable exceptions for emergencies or extraordinary circumstances, at the administration’s discretion. Fees charged by outside payment processors may not be refundable.
15. Late arrivals
We recommend connecting at least five (5) minutes before your appointment. The clinician may wait a reasonable time, but arriving late may shorten the visit, require rescheduling, count as a no-show, or result in losing your payment. A visit is not extended because the patient arrived late.
16. Rescheduling or cancellation by DrWeightPR
We may cancel or reschedule an appointment because of clinical emergencies, clinician illness, technical problems, power or internet outages, weather, incomplete information, the need for an in-person evaluation, or other reasonable operational circumstances. When DrWeightPR cancels before providing the service, you may receive a new date, a credit for another visit, or a refund of your payment.
17. Refills and dose adjustments
Refills and dose adjustments are not automatic. The clinician may require a follow-up visit, an updated history, a recent weight, vital signs, laboratory tests, confirmation of tolerance, a review of side effects, verification of your last dose, or evidence of follow-up with other physicians. Sending a message or requesting a refill does not guarantee approval, and requests are not guaranteed to be processed the same day. Request refills early enough to allow clinical review and pharmacy processing. DrWeightPR is not responsible for treatment interruptions caused by late requests, missed follow-up, pharmacy unavailability, or third-party delays.
18. Promotions and discount codes
We may occasionally offer discounts, promotions, or promotional codes. Unless stated otherwise, they cannot be combined, cannot be exchanged for cash, apply only to the specified service, are time-limited, do not apply retroactively, do not cover medications, laboratory tests, or outside services, may be limited to new patients, may be cancelled or changed at any time, and must be used when booking. Misuse, duplicate use, or fraudulent use of a code may result in its cancellation.
19. Electronic communications
By providing an email address or phone number, you authorize us to contact you about appointments, confirmations, reminders, forms, payments, instructions, results, refills, follow-up care, administrative matters, and requested services, by email, text message, phone call, WhatsApp, booking platforms, or patient portals. Some ordinary communication channels carry privacy risks, and they must not be used for emergencies. Messages may not be reviewed outside business hours, on weekends, or on holidays.
20. Platforms and technology services
DrWeightPR may rely on outside services to operate, including:
- Vercel (hosting for this website).
- Appointment scheduling platforms, such as Calendly.
- Video call services.
- Electronic medical-record systems.
- Email providers.
- WhatsApp.
- Payment processors.
- Automation services.
- Pharmacy platforms.
- Web analytics and advertising measurement, which load only with your consent, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Each provider is subject to its own terms, policies, and availability. We do not guarantee that the website or technology services will be free of interruptions, errors, delays, viruses, attacks, data loss, or incompatibility with certain devices. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any website feature without notice.
21. Privacy
The handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, by the Practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices. By using the services, you acknowledge that you had access to those documents. These Terms and Conditions incorporate by reference the Privacy Policy, the Telemedicine Consent, the cancellation and payment policies shown when booking, and the clinical consents that apply to your treatment.
22. Use of the website
The website is provided for general information, education, appointment scheduling, and access to services.
You may not:
- Use the website for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access.
- Introduce malicious code.
- Interfere with the website’s operation.
- Impersonate another person.
- Submit false information.
- Copy, modify, or redistribute content without permission.
- Use robots or automated systems to extract content.
- Use the website to harass or threaten staff.
- Attempt to obtain prescriptions fraudulently.
We may restrict or block access in case of misuse.
23. Educational content
The content, articles, frequently asked questions, tools, and estimates published on the website are for information and education. They are not a medical diagnosis, personalized treatment, a promise of results, a recommendation to start or stop medications, or a substitute for a medical evaluation. Actual results can vary significantly.
24. Intellectual property
The website’s content, including text, logos, graphics, photographs, design, videos, educational material, custom code, and the organization of the content, is owned by DRWEIGHT LLC or used with permission, unless stated otherwise. It may not be copied, reproduced, modified, published, sold, or distributed without written permission. You may print or save content only for personal, non-commercial use.
25. Testimonials, reviews, and results
Any testimonials, reviews, examples, or experiences shown are individual experiences and do not guarantee that anyone else will get similar results. Results depend on many factors, including medical conditions, adherence, medications, diet, physical activity, sleep, genetics, treatment length, tolerance, and clinical follow-up. Patient photographs or results are published only with the required authorization.
26. Abusive conduct and communications
DrWeightPR expects respect toward patients, staff, and clinicians. We may limit or end our relationship with anyone who engages in threats, harassment, repeated insults, discrimination, inappropriate sexual conduct, fraud, altering documents, misusing prescriptions, unauthorized recordings, malicious publication of private information, or conduct that puts others at risk. Any termination of services will respect the applicable clinical and legal obligations.
27. Recordings
You may not record audio, video, or images of a visit without first getting express permission from the clinician and anyone else taking part. DrWeightPR does not routinely record medical visits unless there is informed consent, it is needed for an authorized purpose, or the law allows or requires it.
28. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms removes professional obligations that cannot legally be limited. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, DRWEIGHT LLC is not liable for losses or damages caused by:
- False or omitted information from the patient.
- Not following instructions.
- Unauthorized changes to the treatment.
- Incorrect or shared use of medications.
- Pharmacy delays or decisions.
- Medication unavailability.
- Third-party price changes.
- Shipping delays.
- Device or connection failures.
- Outages of outside services.
- Unauthorized access through the patient’s devices or accounts.
- Use of educational information without a medical evaluation.
- Events beyond the Practice’s reasonable control.
DrWeightPR does not guarantee that the website or any outside platform will work continuously or without errors.
29. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from unlawful use of the website, violation of these terms, fraud, impersonation, unauthorized use of content, deliberately false information, or damage caused to systems or third parties. This does not apply when a claim results directly from acts for which DRWEIGHT LLC is legally responsible.
30. Force majeure
DRWEIGHT LLC is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including hurricanes, floods, public-health emergencies, power outages, telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, government shutdowns, medication shortages, labor disputes, acts of authorities, and other force majeure events.
31. Termination of service
We may suspend or end a user’s access for breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud, inappropriate conduct, missed follow-up, clinical risk, false information, misuse of prescriptions, or circumstances that prevent safe care. When there is an active physician-patient relationship, any termination will follow the applicable professional obligations and may include instructions for continuity of care.
32. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law of the United States. Unless applicable law provides otherwise, any dispute about the use of the website or the services must be brought before the courts of competent jurisdiction in Florida. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
33. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected provision will be interpreted or modified only as much as needed to make it valid and enforceable.
34. No waiver
If DRWEIGHT LLC does not enforce a provision on a given occasion, it does not waive the right to enforce it later.
35. Entire agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, the Telemedicine Consent, and the applicable clinical consents, are the agreement that governs use of the website and the services. If these terms conflict with a specific clinical consent, the more specific document controls on that clinical matter, subject to applicable law.
36. Changes
DRWEIGHT LLC may change these Terms and Conditions to reflect legal, regulatory, clinical, technological, administrative, pricing, or service changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with its latest revision date. Changes apply from the date they are posted, unless the law requires another procedure. Continuing to use the website or booking new services after a change is posted means you accept the current version.
37. Contact
For questions about these Terms and Conditions, contact DRWEIGHT LLC by WhatsApp, using the link at the bottom of every page of this website. To protect your privacy, do not send highly sensitive medical information through ordinary email or messaging.
